Theatre Festival Oerol
Op vrijdag 14 en zaterdag 15 juni zijn Tjerk en ezel Lodewijk op Terschelling tijdens theaterfestival Oerol. Op deze twee dagen kan je met beide heren mee het strand op onder de vlag: Op zoek naar de ezel in jezelf. Over de wijsheid van de ezel. Je kan een persoonlijk gesigneerd exemplaar van het boek/muziekalbum Bonne Route! kopen en natuurlijk een selfie maken. Aanmelden voor de strandwandeling is niet nodig, de deelname is vrij, de start is om 10.30 uur bij de strandtent van ‘West aan Zee’ en duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur 🌞Â

‘Roots en Route’ tijdens Keti Koti
In January and February, Tjerk was on a journey on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin with the socio-cultural projectRoots en RouteAt the invitation of the 4C Foundation and the Sint Maarten Utrecht Foundation, Tjerk encountered the history and culture surrounding the theme of borders and connections while walking. And in collaboration between, among others, the NIA (National Institute of Arts), various educational and healthcare institutions, the nature organization Epic, a new slow-tourism hiking trail is being developed that is based on the cultural heritage of the Caribbean island. This new walking route will be part of the 'Martinuspad' network in Europe. In addition to the performances that took place at Saint Martin in January and February, special performances around the 'Roots en Route' project will take place in the Netherlands on July 1 (Keti Koti) and November 1 (Utrechtse Maartsensweek).
